So we have finalized the competition dates for this season, it was a little trickier than usual but it is finally done!!
So please mark your calendars and make arrangements to get your students to these competitions!
I have found that the most growth comes from the competition experience, it provides students with an opportunity to see what other students have built with their robots to work within the new game rules, as well as gives them more drive to work harder and improve their own skills and abilities.
The FIRST competition we will attend will be on NOVEMEBER 23 at Davis High school, please see the address and agenda below for more details....
Our SECOND competition will be on JANUARY 11 at T. H. Bell Jr High, please see the address and agenda below for more details...
Our FINAL competition will be on FEBRUARY 1 at Kings Peak elementary, its a local competition. But that means we will need helpers so please be looking for volunteer sign ups! See agenda below for details...
If any teams qualify the STATE COMPETITION will be held on FEBRUARY 15. So please add that tentatively to your calendar!
Please let me know if you have any questions!

To those who are new to robotics and to those who have been around for a year or two, the entire reason I started a company to do run this program is because of wanting to be able to offer scholarship opportunities.
This is an expensive program to run and I couldn't do it without the student tuition, but I NEVER want to turn a student away because they can't afford the cost. So I started a Low-profit LLC to allow local businesses an actual company to pay a sponsorship to, as they are very unlikely to pay fees to a private person. Below is a letter that you can use to take to local companies who have been very kind to support many of our students over the last two years! Feel free to print and take with you to give to companies you are seeking a scholarship from, Thanks!

This huge adventure started in 2017 with my adventurous 2nd and 3rd child. We hopped on a plane and headed to Louisville Kentucky for the Vex IQ World Robotic Championship. It was there that my eyes were opened to the wonderful opportunity that an elementary robotics program would bring to our small rural community, allowing our youth to start learning even earlier these amazing skills. By introducing them at a younger age we could change their "view" on the typical STEM related subjects ( Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). I knew in my heart that I had to do this no matter how unqualified I was for this task. So because of these cute people and their younger brother who would reap the benefits of their example. We jumped in and with the support of parent coaches & our community we have a thriving program with approximately 8 teams in our little community of Roosevelt, Utah.
